Oct 2011: Tapepro Outside Corner Roller
Keep rolling with the release of the new Outside Corner Roller from Tapepro.
The Outside Corner Roller is designed to be used on a variety of 90° outside corner beads including Trim-Tex™ and Hydrotrim™
It features a stainless steel body with acetal rollers and bushes. The rollers pivot in the centre allowing for corners that are not exactly 90° and corner beads that have either tapered or parallel legs.
You can buy the Outside Corner Roller head on its own, with a 1200mm fixed handle or with the Pro-Reach extendable handle.

Wallboard has partnered with Fyreguard, the name in Fire Rated panels, to bring you a range of Access Panels suitable for a 1 hour or 2 hour application.
All the popular sizes are covered with 300 x 300mm, 450 x 450mm, 530 x 530mm and 600 x 600mm all in stock and ready to ship. Each of the sizes are available with either a feathered flange finish or ready to set surround. 1 Hour panels (APF1) come standard with a budget lock and all 2 hour panels (AFP2) are screw fix. The Recess Plate is designed to be fitted to a Tapepro 200mm Flat Box reducing the finished width to 140mm.

Jul 2011: The new Plastic Corner Finisher
Wallboard Tools in affiliation with Tapepro Drywall Tools is pleased to introduce the new Plastic Corner Finisher.
Corner Finishers fit to either a Corner Box (CA-H), or a Compound Applicator Tube (CA-T). They are designed to apply compound to a taped and rolled internal corner while perfectly feathering the edges. The CFP-75 will finish out to 75mm.
The new Plastic Corner Finisher (CFP-75) features a low friction, high strength industrial plastic body, requiring fewer parts thereby reducing the cost. The stainless steel frames have been laser cut and machined for accuracy and feature super wear resistant cemented carbide blades and skids.

May 2011: Introducing Mud Set Beads from Trim-Tex
Mud Set Beads have just landed in Australia. The Mud Set Beads beads combine the reliability Trim-Tex products are renown for with innovative, new features with a revolutionary way to install Corner Beads.
Mud Set Beads are installed with base compound only. These beads provide paramount impact resistance and a superior bond virtually eliminating cracking.
This new range of beads from Trim-Tex is 3 times more rigid with the introduction of I Beam technology. The I Beam allows beads to absorb impact and resist cracking while producing a sharper corner.
The Mud Set Beads use Mud Lock technology and a specially engineered hole pattern to create a superior bond between PVC and Plasterboard. Mud Locks cover the entire mud leg of the bead, greatly increasing the bonding area. Micro perforations allow the optimum amount of compound to pass through, enabling the bead to self level on the corner. After installation, Mud Set Beads bond so strongly to the wall, they almost become part of it.
Mud Set Beads are the fastest to install in the Trim-Tex range. They can be installed using Automatic Tools, a Hopper or by hand without the need for staples or spray adhesive.

Wallboard Tools is pleased to announce the arrival of the economy access panels range.
Economy access panels allow access behind walls or ceilings where a fire and sound rating is not required.
The new panels are individually packaged to avoid damage during transit and protect their primed finish.
All economy access panels are available in an exposed flanged finish or ready to set surround and feature concealed hinges, horizontal and vertical fixing lugs, clean welds and a primed finish. The metal range is manufactured with a 1mm metal door and frame secured with a choice between slotted budget lock or tip latch. The MDF panels are constructed with a 16mm, removable MDF door that is fitted with a slotted budget lock.

Wallboard Tools is pleased to announce the addition of the comfortable Dura-Stilt Version 4 Stilts and the revolutionary Skywalker Stilts to our range.
The Dura-Stilt Version 4 incorporate new foot, ankle and leg harnesses which focus on user safety while also delivering comfort and support.Skywalker stilts have adjustable tension springs in the feet, allows the user to stand up straight and walk with more natural motion. Both new sets of stilts are available now from Wallboard Tools in medium and large sizes. Beadex profiles are manufactured from high quality paper tape so it has a superior bond with joint compound. The metal strip is rust resistant and protects against chipping, cracking and other normal wear and tear. This perfect fusion of paper tape and metal allows you to create sharp, crisp corners and square set angles.Creating the perfect corner with Beadex has never been easier or quicker. Beadex can be installed with the Tapepro Automatic Taping Tools in roughly half the time taken up by traditional methods. There is no exposed metal on the profiles so there is no priming required.
